A Place to Pray

Rising very early before dawn, he left and went off to a deserted place, where he prayed. – Mk 1:35

I can only imagine how much Jesus yearned for both a quiet place and the time to pray. I have often felt that way myself. Sometimes I let my schedule get too full.

I can pray when I go to Mass but I also want some quiet time so I can listen to God. I need a deserted place, a quiet place. It is not always easy to find. Right now staying up late seems to work.
