Oooh boy. What a gospel reading for me to read right now. Feeling troubled and abandoned? Yup. For sure.
Feeling like my heart has broken in two? Yup. For sure.
But it is not all about me. It is about us. It is about Rich and I both feeling troubled and alone. And I am pretty sure that all who reads this knows exactly how that feels. We’ve all been there in some way or another.
But we must all remember. Jesus is our Shepherd. He will never abandon us. When we feel alone, we need only reach out to Him.
And we will find Him. Right there. Within our reach.
