Childlike Faith

Amen, I say to you, “whoever does not accept the Kingdom of God like a child will not enter it.” – Mk 10:15

This is one of my favorite readings.
Children speak what is on their minds. They wear their hearts on their sleeves. If they are excited, it is all over their faces.
They trust. They believe.
I often attended church by myself when I was very young. I lived in a small town and often walked to church by myself whenever my parents overslept. I sat in the front pew so I could see and hear better.
And I believed. I believed with all my heart without question.
Do you?
