But when they continued asking him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” John 8:7

Jesus refused to condemn the woman caught in adultery. What faults do I need to take to Jesus hoping he will not condemn me?

Lord, help me to see what my many faults are. Grant me the courage to bring them to you in reconciliation. I know that if I am truly sorry you will not condemn me. I know you will forgive me and love me.

What healing do I need from God today? Physical? Emotional? Am I able to surrender myself to Jesus every day?

The Jews had trouble believing what Jesus told them. What words of Jesus do I have the most trouble with?

Lord, there are some things that you said that really trouble me. Help me to better understand what you said and to incorporate it into my life. Grant me the courage to accept all of your teachings without question.

Jeremiah 20:10-13; John 10:31-42

If I do not perform my Father’s works, do not believe me; but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may realize [and understand] that the Father is in me and I am in the Father. – Jn 10:37-38

What works of Jesus do I find difficult to accept?

Lord, I truly believe in you, but some of your works are difficult for me to accept. Grant me the understanding to accept all your works without question. Never allow me to doubt you in any way.
