Take Courage

“In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” – John 16:33

Have you ever been afraid to speak out about your faith?

Neither one of my boys were afraid to speak out against abortion to a crowd of students at their school. I may have taught them about the Church’s teaching, but they taught me about courage.

Dear Jesus, please give us the courage we need to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. Help us to teach others. Help us to be good role models. Amen.
