Jesus loved His own and loved them to the end.
I wonder how I would have felt if Jesus came to wash my feet. Probably unworthy. Uncomfortable. Peter did not want Jesus to wash his feet. I can understand Peter’s reaction.
But what Peter didn’t understand, is that Jesus loves us whether or not we deserve it.
Remember, He also washed Judas’ feet.
Isn’t Jesus asking us to do the same?
