Jesus, Hold Us Close

I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the Evil One. – John 17:15

Jesus asks the Father to keep His apostles from the “evil one”. He asks that they be protected from evil. And consecrated in truth.

He loves all of His disciples. He loves us.

And He wants to keep us with Him.

Did you ever think of that? That as much as we long to be with Jesus, He wants to be with us even more?

Jesus, protect me and hold me close. Amen.
