Lord, thank you for changing my life. Help me to always be open to change. May I experience many conversions as I grow closer to you.

Jesus says that those who do God’s will are his family. What must I do so Jesus recognizes me as belonging to his family? How do we know what God’s will is?
Jesus, help me to act as a member of your family. Help me to have faith like Mary. May I always follow you, Lord, and do your will.

Do I really hear what Jesus is telling me through scripture?
Do I sow seeds among others?
Jesus, grant me the ability to recognize your voice through scripture. Help me to understand what you are saying and to act on your words.

Jesus wants my light to shine for all to see. Do I set the light of my faith out for all to see or do I hide it within?
Lord, grant me the strength to allow my faith to shine for all to see. Never let me hide this beautiful faith you have blessed me with. Always make me proud of my love of you.

2 Samuel 11:1-4a, 5-10a, 13-17; Mark 4:26-34
Jesus tells us that, like the tiny mustard seed, our faith is growing within us.
What have I done to cultivate that faith? Have I watered this seed with study and prayer? Or have I allowed it to wither for lack of food?
Lord, help me to cultivate my faith and bring it to full growth. Only be careful tending will it blossom into the full bush it is meant to be.
