Love Each Other Through the Pain

I was wondering how to say it. I wanted to be clear and concise. I wanted to express my feelings about Orlando. But I couldn’t find the words.

Orlando. The city that was once just a sleepy town.

Innocent lives lost. And no answer to that question we all ask.

Why?

I do not want to hear about gun control vs no gun control.

I do not want to hear about democrats vs republicans.

I do not want hear Trump or Hillary or Obama each point a finger at the other and use this as a political football.

I want the analysis to stop. I want the reaching for straws to stop. I want the arguments to stop. At least for one day.

I want to mourn the dead and hurt for all the victims. I want to pray for them and for their families.

I want us all to just feel. Feel the tragedy.

And love each other through the pain.

And pray.

Pray. Pray. Pray.
