Then astonishment seized them all and they glorified God, and, struck with awe, they said, “We have seen incredible things today.” (Lk 5:26)
Are we open every day to seeing incredible things? Do we notice what happens around us throughout our days?
Do we see with wonder, like children? Do we pay attention?
The men lowered the paralyzed man through the roof so Jesus could heal him. They were confident that He would do this. They would do anything to get their friend to Jesus. They had strong faith.
What would we be willing to go through to seek Jesus’ healing? What would we do to bring others to Christ? Do we have faith that Jesus loves us and wants to heal us?
Dear Lord, thank you for your love. Help me to bring my problems and brokenness to you. Help me to trust in your love and your desire to heal us. Amen.
