Silence

Silence, all people, in the presence of the LORD, who stirs forth from his holy dwelling. – Zec 2:17

I love silence.

I crave silence. Especially these days.

I am on sick leave from work and I spend a lot of time praying. And reflecting on my life.

Now I have time. And I am not sure what to say. So I just sit and listen to God.

Sit in the silence.

And listen.

This is the season of anticipation. Anticipation of the coming of the Lord into our world, into our lives into our silence.

This is the season of waiting. Waiting for the Lord to make His appearance. Waiting for that rebirth of our spiritual lives. Waiting for the rebirth of our relationship with God.

Waiting in silence.
