God Visits His People

Jesus went to the synagogue on the sabbath and and he stood up to read.

“He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind …” – Lk 4:18

Jesus tells the people in the synagogue that this scripture has been fulfilled in their hearing. That God has come to bring the good news.

And Jesus continues to tell us this. He tells us that God is in our midst and that we are not alone. He tells us that God visits his people.

And God is still visiting his people. Today. Every day. He is in our midst.

Do we keep our eyes open to find Him present here with us? Do we see God in our midst? OR do we walk right by? Eyes and ears closed to His presence, to His voice.
