Faith

The Lord replied, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to [this] mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. (Luke 17:6)

Faith.

Jesus seems to be telling us that we only need a little bit of faith. The size of a mustard seed.

We cannot acquire it. We cannot earn it. Faith is a gift.

So instead of measuring our faith, or comparing it to others, we accept our faith, we pray for faith.

We thank God for this gift.

And we know it is enough.

Lord, thank you for the gift of faith. Thank you for increasing our faith when we need it. Help us believe. Amen.

  1. Thank you so much. I really needed to hear this. With Bill gone to heaven with God. Keeping the faith is so important. God bless. Judy Wilczek
