I’m Back

I’m back.

I have been away. Away from blogging, from writing, from my normal, everyday life.

I was sick. Sicker than I have ever been. Hospitalized twice. Emergency surgery.

It has taken me a long time to get back. To get back to me. My memory didn’t work right. I lost lots of weight and had no appetite. I think I scared my husband half to death.

I am slowly getting back. I am eating better. I can drive now. My incision is healed. I have no pain. I am seeing more of my family. Spending time with my sons and their families.

And I can think better. My mind is not so muddled. My memory is improving. I have started my ministry at my parish. I can write.

I can pray.

Thank you, Lord. Thank you for my life and my husband and my family.

Thank you for bringing me home.
