Retirement

I haven’t written in a while. Life is so busy these days! I have to laugh. I thought retirement would be more relaxing!!

Actually retirement is fun. It’s just that there is a lot more to do than I realized!

I am back doing spiritual direction at church. I am going to Benedictine Oblate meetings every other month.

I have given a talk on child sexual abuse and am scheduled to do so again for another group in a few months.

My husband and I are visiting and babysitting our grandchildren. (And yes, we are also enjoying their parents).

This retirement thing is a lot of fun.

But the getting older is not so fun. (I really do not mind getting older. But I do mind the illnesses and aches and pains that come with age.)

However, my hubby and I are helping each other through it. The best part about retirement? Spending more time together!
