Lenten Hope

I would like to say that I will be more consistent in writing my reflections and my blog more often during Lent. I know it would help me if I did that. Writing often makes me feel closer to Jesus. Writing spiritual reflections and articles  – for me – is like praying.

But alas, I really cannot promise I will do this. My heart is in the right place. I WANT to do this. But everyday stuff gets in the way.

Which is really what happens to most of us -probably all of us – in our spiritual lives. We have the best of intentions.

So I pray that we will all have a “good” Lent. We will have a time of renewal and repentance and prayer and feel closer to Jesus. Not just during Lent. But all the year through.

Do I hear an Amen?
