This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.
Early in our personal prayer life, we tend to do a lot more talking than listening. As we grow in our relationship with God, many of us find ourselves listening more than talking. The rote prayers seem to dry up and we want to be quiet. We want to hear Jesus’ voice.
We want to hear Jesus speak to our hearts. And know that we are loved.
Catholic Prayer Life 
Some times the quiet is beautiful and it bring with it peace.
