Peace

On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”  – John 20:19

Peace be with you.

The disciples were afraid. And Jesus gave them peace.

And Jesus gives us peace as well, even when we close our hearts to Him or to others. Can you remember the times when you have  been aware of His peace?

What areas of your life cause you fear?

Invite Him in.

Jesus, thank you for the times you have filled me with your peace. I am so grateful that you are always with me. Amen.
