Love Forever And Two Days

For whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is my brother, and sister, and mother. – Mt 12:50

My husband and I are celebrating our 41st anniversary today. 41 years that have gone by so fast, in the blink of an eye. We are so blessed and we have not ever taken our relationship for granted.

In the early years, we struggled to find the right words to tell each other how we felt. I am not sure exactly who started it or how it all began, but as long as we have been married, we have always signed our cards and notes to each other in exactly the same way – Love forever and 2 days.

Just in case “forever” isn’t long enough.

I do not always know how to express my love for Jesus. I do not always know the will of the Father. But I do know, that by loving each other, we also love Jesus.

We may not always have the perfect words, or the perfect idea of how to serve Him, but we do know how to love our neighbor in so many different ways.

Can you think of one way to express your love for Jesus today?
