Come and See

But Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come from Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” John 1:45-51

Come and see.

How often do we hear those words? In the silence of prayer? In reading scripture. In the invitations from others?

Come and see.

How often do we say these words? To our neighbors? To our family members? To those we meet?

Come and see.

Who do we need to bring to Jesus? And have we ourselves spent enough time with Jesus these days?

Have we spent some of our quarantine time praying and talking to Jesus?

Do we hear Jesus’ invitation to us? Do we answer that call?

Come and see.

Jesus, thank you for being with us always. Help us to answer your call today and every day. – Amen.
