God Makes all Things Possible

Jesus looked at them and said, “For human beings this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.” – Matthew 19:26

We went to a diaconate ordination last Saturday. We just had to go – my husband has mentored one of the new deacons. We have been traveling the long road with him to this day.

Have you ever attended an ordination of a priest of deacon? It is always a moving experience. And I usually find myself reliving my husband’s ordination.

Both my husband and the new deacon he mentored have been through tough times and a road with many twists and turns. It became a whole lot easier when we were finally able to surrender it all to the Lord and trust in Him.

Sacraments are always inspiring. They are a “visible sign of an inward grace.” That visible sign is just so powerful. Sacraments can not be taken for granted. We have learned this the hard way, throughout this pandemic.

Lord, thank you for your love and guidance. Help us to trust you more and follow you everywhere. Thy will be done. Amen.
